Christians aren’t perfect. The bible tells us in 1 John 1:9: If we cofenss our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. A sin is a sin no matter how big or how small. Sure 75% of Americans are Christians or say they are Christians and some of that percentage are having abortions, but what we don’t know is the stat of the women who get an abortion before they turn to God because of their pain, guilt and regret of having an abortion and become a Christian. Maybe it’s a small percent or maybe it’s a big percent but it’s not up to us to judge Christians or non-Christians for sinning, that’s God’s work.As for the death penalty-how is that even comparable?!?!?! People get the death penalty because THEY KILLED another fully-grown, conscious, adult human being (or child). The death penalty has been around since at least the 1930 s in the US and is a punishment for committing a huge crime.An unborn fetus didn’t do anything to deserve to be killed. A person receiving the death penalty chose to knowingly break the law(s) and that is the punishment put in place years ago. They don’t necassarily deserve death, but that is the consequence (in 33 states).
